We are proud to be the first company in Western Australia to rent reusable plastic moving boxes to businesses for DIY packing. Crates have been used in the commercial removal market in Europe Canada and the USA for decades. They provide an environmentally friendly alternative to cardboard boxes as they will be reused for several years.

Box n' Crate Hire's durable plastic crates were designed exclusively for the moving industry. They are easy for your staff to fill, stack and move around on the specially designed skate. No heavy lifting required, hence a very low injury risk to your employees. You can purchase/hire all packing supplies required: Bubble Wrap, Packing Paper, Computer Monitor and Plasma Screen Covers, Hand Trolleys, Furniture Dollies & Blankets, Tape and Tape Dispensers, Zip Ties, Security Seals and a range of Cardboard Boxes for long term storage.

Delivery/Collection

It's all about Efficiency
Your staff will immediately recognise the ease that reusable crates add to the move. Our moving system includes the crates and skates that are specially designed to hold three stacked crates. The packing process is simple and eliminates the need for heavy lifting.

Packing crates using skates:
First staff members place an empty crate on top of a skate and pack it. Then an empty crate is stacked on top of the full one and, again, packed. Using coloured labels designating the different floors and office departments will keep your move organised and make unpacking easier. Once the skate is loaded with three packed crates, the stack can be stored and wheeled onto the truck on moving day. At the destination, the process is reversed. Alternatively crates can be removed from the skate at the storage area for further handling by a removalist. The skate can then be re used by staff to pack further crates.

Innovative Service
Although the cost of moving with reusable crates is similar to a traditional move, it offers a number of performance advantages. Our rigid and durable crates provide greater protection of contents. The smooth edged plastic dollies used to move the crates cause less damage to walls and door-jambs than the metal hand-trucks typically used for cardboard boxes. Tamper-resistant, numbered security seals can be used to help secure sensitive materials in the crates. To prevent theft and secure contents crates can simply be locked using cable ties.
